No need to bring special caving equipment when discovering the Chute-à-Bull! Newly opened to the public, our caving guides invite you on an adventure inside the Earth’s core.

Accrochez-vous, pour une aventure vertigineuse à travers des millénaires d’histoires géologiques. Dans cet interstice prometteur, forces de la nature et perspectives historiques se rencontrent. Au creux d’une faille se loge notre humble posture d’être humain, qui fera la rencontre d’une amie, d’une complice trop souvent mal aimée. Au creux des oreilles attentives, les secrets les plus vulnérables et précieux des chauves-souris vous seront dévoilés.

You don’t need specialized caving equipment to discover the Chute-à-Bull cave! Newly converted for curious visitors, our guides invite you on an expedition into the Earth’s core. This summer, hang on tight and enjoy a dizzying adventure through thousands of years of geological History! Forces of Nature and historical perspectives meet in these promising interstices. Nestled in this rift, our humble little human existence meets an often misunderstood friend. Keep your ears wide open and you might just hear the bats reveal their deepest and most precious secrets. Click here to watch a video showcasing our cave!  Here is important information to help you plan your trip:
  • The guided tour is about 1h long. This activity lasts from 3h to 3.5h in total, which includes the hike there.
  • Trail to the cave: A 2.5 km hike will lead you to the cave’s opening. It is a 5 km round trip. The cave is located in front of the Belvedere. Be aware that the cave opening can only be accessed after climbing many long stairs. Guests must be in good physical shape and wear appropriate footwear (such as hiking shoes or boots). 
  • Trail elevation: 100 m
  • Tour schedules for 2025 (may vary, please check out the schedule on the online ticket office):
    • From he begining of May until June 22nd: On Saturday and Sunday.
    • Summer Season: from Saint-Jean Baptiste until the end of August: from Wednesday to Sunday.
    • September: on Saturdays and Sundays until September 28th. NEW! In September, two tours are held on Saturday nights.
    • During the week, you can make group bookings.

  • Fees: Includes the guided tour and parc access fees:
      • 21.74$ for adults (+ tax)
      • 13.05$ for children (aged 7 to 17) (+ tax)
Note: It is still possible to access the park at regular pricing without having done the guided tour of the cave.
Rules to visit the cave:
      • Show up 15 minutes before the time written on your ticket provided by the front desk.
      • Dogs are forbidden.
      • Alcohol, smoking cigarettes/marijuana/vaping are forbidden.
You should bring: a water bottle, insect repellent, walking shoes or boots, warm clothes (it can get chilly in the cave!)
